Flash Floozy: Floral Crown

Last week I received a package from Flash Floozy which included this beautiful floral garland. Flash Floozy is a online fashion store selling handmade boho headpieces and jewellery. It was started by lovely founder, Marie Porter who describes her products as 'Boho Bling' as she has pieces that are more on the whimsical side but also has other pieces that are more jewelled to add sparkle.

This floral garland is just so beautiful. It is a light blue floral crown with slightly pointed petals. The underneath is finished off with green petals to give a more natural look to the roses. The headband itself is made from rustic vine and looks so natural and would blend in with most hair types if seen when being worn. Then the end is finished off with a cream ribbon to type at the nape of the neck to secure on your head. This adds such a dainty look to the floral crown.

I haven't worn this crown out properly yet but I am on holiday abroad as we speak so I will most definitely be including this beautiful head piece in with a few outfits so look out for the outfit posts that include this floral crown. This will include better photos so you can see what the crown looks like when it is on my head.

I think I will also be wearing this at London Fashion Weekend in September so look out for my outfit for that also!

Just a short post but you will be seeing more of this gorgeous floral crown on the blog in the future as I'm so impressed with the quality and handmade items are sometimes the best, especially when it comes to Flash Floozy!

Forget Me Knots Scarves

“We Are Creative, We Are Individual, We Are Strong"- Forget Me Knots

Recently I've teamed up with the lovely brand, Forget Me Knots Scarves! Forget Me Knots is a brand that design and sell beautiful real silk scarves.
The scarves are designed by Natalie Palmer and the brand has two collections out a year. The scarves are made by using photography and image manipulation to put them together and are then digitally printed onto crepe back silk.

Their current collection is called 'English Tropics' and is inspired by tropical prints such as palm trees and pineapples and are mixed with the muted colour palette of the English countryside.

I absolutely adore the look of these scarves. They're so fresh looking and unusual in a good sense. I can imagine someone walking up to me when I'm wearing one and trying to work out what the patterns and colours are because they're so interesting looking. I'm normally one to play it quite safe when wearing scarves but these, well I'd love to wear any of them. They would immediately jazz up an outfit and make any boring or plain outfit interesting looking.
The colours are great for pairing with most other colours as they have both slightly brighter colours with the classic monochrome, blues and lighter hues.

I will be doing a Forget Me Knot styling post in the future showing you how to wear and style up these beautiful scarves so look out for that in the future!

Which one is your favourite?

Blazing White

So today I went and did a small photoshoot with my sisters so we can give some photographs to my mum in an album or a frame for her birthday on Saturday. Therefore I wanted to wear something nice but casual at the same time so I settled for this.

I went for a black bodysuit which is underneath the blazer and is one of the best basics I've ever bought, I wear it so often! Also I wore my black high waisted jeans that I always wear. I'm sorry fashion police but they just go with EVERYTHING!
The sandals are my new favourite shoes. I'm not normally a big shoe person, they don't really fuss me if they go with your outfit then perfect, that's it! These sandals though are so comfy and flattering and I will definitely be taking them for walking around Venice next week!
I added the black clutch which I bought years ago but it still goes with most outfit due to it being black.

The cream/off white blazer is the main item that makes this outfit, it's what adds a smart edge to a fairly casual outfit. I first wore this on my 18th birthday and it's the perfect cover up.

Blazer: H&M

I Bagged It

 Top: New Look
Bag: Next
Jeans: Topshop

Last week I made a quick visit to the Next sale. I'm not normally one for Next as it can be full of 'mum' clothes but every now and again I can find a few pieces I like.
After searching through rails and rails of clothes, with very few size 6 or 8s, I moved over to the bags and found this little beauty.

I have been looking for a bag of a good size with normal straps as well as a longer 'over the shoulder' strap and I finally found it. It is black and off-white meaning it will go with most outfits. As well as being a great bag and because of the sale it was also a great price at £18 instead of the original £36! So pleased with how cheap it was!
